I use to consider myself bisexual. I have dated girls and felt amazing in those relationships. I am currently with a man and very happy. I still am attracted to women and I am confused. If I plan on staying with this man but I am also attracted to women, am I still bi? Does that ever “go away”? I won’t mind either way. I’m just curious.

Thanks for writing in. It’s perfectly normal to have some questions and doubts about your sexuality. This is a difficult thing for any young woman to figure out, and is even more complicated for people who don’t neatly fit into society’s boxes.

Someone’s sexuality really doesn’t go away. You’ll very likely always appreciate both girls and boys. It’s great that you don’t mind! There’s nothing wrong with however you choose to live your life. Of course, I wish you well in your current, happy relationship. Enjoy!
