Thank you for writing to us at Trevor!
You are going through what many young people go through during school, whether it’s elementary, middle or high school. Even young adults in college suffer from depression and a sense of feeling lonely or isolated. It’s never easy when feeling like an outcast around your peers. This is not something to be ashamed of or even embarrassed about.
You can look into whether your town has a local community center that specializes in helping young people who seek advice and help relating to the kind of worries you have. If you don’t feel comfortable in a public setting, you may want to reach out to a friend or adult you trust who will listen to you and help you with your depression.
Also, Trevor Space would be a great service for you to check out. It’s a social media website where you can communicate with people around your age who are also dealing with personal issues and have questions they might not feel comfortable asking their friends or family.
