TrevorLIVE Los Angeles celebrates 15 years of The Trevor Project’s life-saving, life-affirming work to prevent suicide among LGBTQ youth. This high-profile evening of music, comedy, and entertainment will be on December 8th at the Hollywood Palladium, presented by Audi of America and Wells Fargo.
Long time LGBTQ ally and activist, Kathy Griffin, is hosting the show. During TrevorLIVE, we have a chance to honor those who have supported the LGBT community and especially youth. Golden Globe® Award and Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch will be honored with the Trevor Hero Award for her support and advocacy, and Toyota will receive the Trevor 20/20 Visionary Award for their deep commitment to diversity. Adam White, a senior at Brigham Young University, will be presented with the Trevor Youth Innovator Award for his work to support, inspire and empower LGBT youth in his predominantly Mormon community to reach for their dreams.
Trevor Hero honoree Jane Lynch said, “I’m proud to stand up for a cause I believe in and am deeply honored to receive the Trevor Hero Award. With the major strides, like the impending passage of ENDA, and the outpouring of LGBTQ characters in the media, it can be easy to forget that despite all this progress, challenges remain. The Trevor Project continues to provide essential support to those who need it most.”
