I am writing to you again, for the second time. Well, I tried to follow all the advice that you gave me ... but things have been getting worse. I controlled myself, and I stopped cutting, but thoughts like "kill yourself immediately" continue bombarding in my head. Every day I have to hear my mom complain about her life, saying: "I hope God take me soon," "I'll die and you'll turn away alone." I can not stand it anymore. I read some things about depression and psychological problems on a site that you prescribed me ... and I feel all things related to depression. I'm young, very young. I'm afraid to just be young with depression ... this is not a normal thing.
Hi Giovanna,
We are glad you chose to contact us again. This is a difficult situation. Trying to understand the separation of your parents, while living in an emotionally charged environment can be very difficult. In your prior letter, you mentioned some relatives who were tying to assist you. I imagine it is difficult to trust anyone with the conflicts that have arisen between your parents. If you cannot trust your Mom and Dad who can you trust? Perhaps, you are thinking along those lines. But, right now, you are struggling with cutting, depressin and thoughts of suicide. You have trusted us with your situation. Can you make a leap of faith and trust one of your relatives?
Finding additional resources will help.
