I realize that this is apparently a site for gay/questioning teens-I wish I had known about it when I was in high school. Anyway, is there a place for those of us beyond the teenage years to go to? The situations I find myself in are slowly driving me nuts. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

At 21, you’re actually in a much better position than most teens to find gay resources you can access—though I can’t really speak off-hand about Colorado Springs (I’m thinking it’s pretty conservative there, right?).

Don’t know what kind of “situations” you’re finding yourself in, but I hope—even if they’re unsatisfying situations—that they’re safe situations. Never agree to participate in any activity, Jay, that you are not comfortable with! O.K., end of lecture.

It’s pretty hard to give you much in the way of useful advice without knowing more about your circumstances, which is why I really encourage you to give our helpline a call. It’s free, open 24/7, and you will have the time to explain your situation and explore your options. The helpline might also be able to help you identify gay-friendly resources in your area. So, before you go “nuts,” give them a call!
