It’s bad, Jaylabear, because as they say, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. For the vast majority of people, suicide is not a rationale act, it’s a desperate one, resulting from a desire to end emotional pain that seems like it will not end. In most cases, there are solutions that can be found and/or the intensity of the pain eases up over time. The problem for many people is that when they’re in emotional pain, they can’t imagine not being in it. But things can and do change! And what a bummer it would be to miss out on what could be a terrific life because you couldn’t see past the pain of the moment!
