First of all, you should never feel judged for trying express who you are. You have the right to feel comfortable in all your environments and I encourage you to talk to an adult, or counselor, that you trust, especially if anything escalates to bullying or harassment.
It is perfectly normal to feel confused. Many people go through this period of trying to define themselves, it is an ongoing process. If you are confused about your sexuality and/or gender identity it is perfectly natural to feel this way. Know that LGBT is a completely natural and normal thing.
To help you figure out where to go from here remember that sexual orientation involves emotional, romantic as well as physical feelings and attraction for people of both genders (bisexual), people of the same gender (lesbian and gay), and people of the opposite gender (heterosexual or straight). Ask yourself who you have had crushes on in the past or who you have fantasized about. This website might help you figure out more about yourself:
http://www.advocatesforyouth.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=730&Itemid=177. Or check out www.bisexual.org and look under resources for Bisexuality 101. If you are confused about your gender go check out http://www.genderspectrum.org/
and look at understanding gender. You can find a ton on the spectrum of gender as well as give you a lot of information on educated others on gender. Lastly, the TrevorSpace at www.trevorspace.org is a place that was created specifically for people like you who just need to reach out and talk to people. It lets you communicate with your peers about these issues and see how they dealt with them. It is a wonderful place to remind you that you are not alone and that people really do want to listen to you.
Remember you don’t have to define anything until you are completely comfortable with it yourself. You always have us here at Trevor if you ever need us so feel free to contact us whenever!
