What you’re experiencing, that is new and intense emotional and physical feelings, occurs with many teens. These feelings can be exciting, fun and pleasurable but they also can be confusing and frightening.
Being attracted to others, having crushes and masturbating are all part of our normal experiences. It sounds like both your emotional and sexual feelings are concerning for you as they are directed toward other guys. It can take time to become comfortable with these different feelings and it’s important that you allow yourself the time to sort out your feelings. You might find it helpful to discuss your feelings and concerns. Is there a counselor or gay group at your school or LGBT group in your community where you would feel safe talking?
