The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to the members of the Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.

1. Visit www.ralphs.com
2. Click on Sign In/Register – Either sign in if you are already registered with Ralphs, if not, click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer’ box.
3. Create an account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password. You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email to verify your account. After you’ve verified your account, click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
4. Click on Community Contribution Program on the left side bar. You will then be able to enter your Ralphs REWARDS card number, on the back of your card under the bar code. After you’ve entered the number, update or confirm your personal information.
5. The next page will say Find your organization (or if you are already registered Click on Edit Community Contribution information and input your 5 digit NPO number shown above, click search, select your organization and save changes) – here you can type in “The Trevor Project” in the find your organization box. You can also use our NPO (non-profit organization ) number: 82035 to search for The Trevor Project. When the Trevor Project pops up, please click the box next to The Trevor Project and hit “Save” at the bottom.
