Take Action Today – Support Funding for School-Based Suicide Prevention Training and Programs!
All states require some kind of suicide prevention plan, and many states require training for school staff. However, not all states FUND those required trainings and programs, and when there isn’t money, sometimes a school or school district can’t provide the program. That’s why we need YOU to ask your state lawmakers to advocate for funding for inclusive school-based suicide prevention training and programs.
You can look up your state representatives and state senators by entering your address and full zip code into this site or this site. NOTE: This kind of funding is determined by state officials, not by Congress or the President.
Take our “Talk To Me” pledge and vow to be a person that anyone can TALK to when they need your support. 
Write a message to a friend on a sticky note telling them you are there to talk if they ever need you, and leave it in a creative place.
Wear and give out the Trevor gear in this kit to spread the word about “Talk To Me.”
