Brian Dorsey is co-owner of Sellers Dorsey, a national health care consultancy recognized for designing and implementing Medicaid finance and healthcare reform solutions that address access, cost, and quality of healthcare. Brian is also a Certified Executive Coach specializing in Management Performance Coaching, as well as an Independent Theatrical Producer for both Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.
In addition to his involvement on The Trevor Project’s Board of Directors, he currently serves as President of the Sellers Dorsey Foundation, a private foundation which supports and leads efforts to improve the health of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The Foundation’s inaugural program is “Out2Enroll”, a collaborative initiative that educates the LGBT community about the Affordable Care Act.
As a former communications director for two non-profit health care organizations in Pennsylvania, Brian helped to launch the VISION USA™ program sponsored by the American Optometric Association, which provides eye health and vision care services to uninsured, low-income patients.
His philanthropic endeavors and advocacy include The Gay and Lesbian Leadership Council of the Democratic National Committee, Victory PA, The Gill Foundation, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilkes University.
