“I literally feel like a butterfly. I’ve come out of a cocoon and become exactly who I was always meant to be.”

It was after a close mentor of theirs used gender-neutral pronouns to introduce them that Bowie began the journey to becoming completely and freely themself. Now, they feel it is their duty to use their voice to tell other trans people that they are loved, seen, and valid.
