Implementation of anti-transgender state laws, such as those in these cases, have been shown to increase suicide attempts among transgender and nonbinary youth January 13, 2026 – Today, The Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments in West Virginia v. For many young people, being an athlete is a major source of pride, community, and accomplishment. That’s why it’s important for major athletic associations to have policies in place that provide inclusion and opportunities for LGBTQ athletes to participate and excel in their sport of choice.
