You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. If you are younger than 18 years old, please consider our Trevor Youth Ambassador Council.
The Trevor Project could not accomplish our life-saving work in advocacy and government affairs without an incredible corps of dedicated Advocacy Volunteers. If you are interested in committing some of your spare time to our causes, please sign a Volunteer Agreement and submit a Volunteer Application, and be sure to indicate your preference of becoming an Advocacy Volunteer.
After you sign an agreement and submit an application, we will conduct a background check, schedule an interview and conduct your training. Please keep in mind that we reserve the option to refuse applicants if we feel they are not the best fit.
The Trevor Project is proud to provide invaluable experiences in advocacy and government affairs to our Advocacy Interns. If you are a student or non-student interested in dedicating a semester or season to our life-saving work, please visit our Career Center to review current opportunities.
