The Trevor Project, Straight But Not Narrow, CenterLink, and Human I-T are coming together for “Power On” – an effort to get refurbished technology loaded with LGBTQ resources into the hands of at-risk youth.
Connecting at-risk young people to communities can lead to supportive friendships, as well as reduce the risk for suicide attempts and other high-risk behaviors. This is especially important for young LGBTQ people who may not know of others like them nearby.
That’s why we’re asking you to Power On and get involved! Donate your laptops, tablets, or smartphones, which will be erased, cleaned, and refurbished before being sent to an LGBTQ youth center, homeless shelter, or community center.
The Power On campaign lasts through LGBTQ Spirit Day on Thursday, October 16, so submit your donation today!
